Admission Information
If you would like to know more about Little Bear Cubs Pre-school contact us via telephone or email. We highly recommend you pay us a visit.
Once you have decided on applying you can complete our admissions form.
After you have completed the registration we will invite your child to a ‘stay and play’ session to allow them to settle in and meet their fellow peers.
Following this your child will be given a start date and there will be an opportunity to order uniforms.

8 a.m. to 4p.m.
Fees are dependent on your specific childcare requirements.
We accept the government’s 15 and 30 hours of funding for working families with 2-5 year old children. We also accept childcare vouchers and we are registered on the government’s tax-free childcare scheme.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply for a place at the Pre-school?
To apply for a place at Little Bear Cubs Pre-school, please call us to make an appointment to visit. You will then be asked to complete an enrolment form and a £40 deposit is given for us to secure your child’s place. A registration pack will then be given to you.

How can I prepare my child for the start of Pre-school?
Be positive and confident about your child coming to Pre-school. Talk about the exciting play activities they will enjoy, and the other children they will see. This is an important time of change for both you and your child, and the staff will help ensure you feel relaxed and well informed. Settling in visits are arranged for you and your child prior to admission. These will also help you to feel prepared and enable your child to settle in happily.
Is there a car park to make it easier for me to drop my child off?
Yes, there is a car park at the entrance of Little Bear Cubs Pre-school and plenty of free off street parking.
Can I come and view the nursery before my child is registered there?
Absolutely! In fact we would like you to come and visit at the earliest possible opportunity, so as you can see for yourself how welcoming, safe and secure our Pre-school is.
Do you have a garden?
Yes we have a lovely large garden were children can run around, have picnics and grow their own fruit and vegetables. A lot of indoor activities are also taken out to the garden. The children go to the garden daily.

Meals
We encourage our pupils to maintain a healthy diet, eat balanced meals and try new foods. There is always members of staff on hand to help children while they are choosing and eating their meals. We routinely cater for halal, gluten and dairy free diets. If your child suffers from any allergies or has any dietary requirements, please do let us know. Our professional chef prepares all our meals using fresh, organic ingredients sourced from the best suppliers. Our menu is on a two week cycle, which is adapted to suit the children’s tastes and ensure that everyone enjoys their meals.
