Our wonderful environment both within and outside the classroom provides extensive opportunities for learning and exploring. We strongly promote nature and sustainability and teaching our young about plants, growing and wildlife.
All our children are offered a multi-cultural experience and are taught to learn and respect different origins, cultures and beliefs.
We provide a friendly, secure and stimulating environment for children aged 2 years to 5 years.
Our fabulous pre-school has a wonderful team of Early Years practitioners who have a wealth of experience providing quality care and education.
We promote parent partnership and provide daily updates and photos to show you your child’s wonderful memories of their time with us.

‘Little Bear Cubs is exactly what I was looking for in a pre-school. A wonderful setting with amazing management and staff committed to make a joyful fun environment as well as caring about the development & needs of a child. My 2 year old daughter has thrived since attending and her confidence has grown greatly. I have recently extended her hours as she is so happy. I visited several pre-schools locally and I can honestly say nothing matched to Little Bear Cubs. There has been nothing even slightly negative that can be said about Little Bear Cubs Pre-school, they are amazing!
Our daughter and son have attended their holiday time clubs, after which they have been so happy. They do wonderful things and come back with lots of goodies!
Our daughter also goes to the pre-school there. We cannot praise them enough with the effort that they put in, not only beautifully setting up the pre-school, the activities they plan but also on a personal level. They very quickly got to know my daughter and helped her with things like encouraging potty training and eating vegetables without us even asking them to.
She is thriving and is so happy and comfortable going there, with even more energy when she gets home to when she went! We can see how quickly she has progressed since starting the pre-school and our son will be joining for their next holiday club.
The food provided is excellent and the staff are wonderful, friendly, kind, enthusiastic, passionate and always with a smile. Our children settled with them within the first few minutes. They update you on what is going on and always have time for you.

Little Bear Cubs is an amazing nursery. Andrea and her team really go the extra mile to look after my son and they are extremely flexible. After a really bad experience of nursery in Potters bar I decided to sign up my son at Little Bear Cubs. It was the best decision I have made. They are extremely clean and they make sure that the kids’ safety is their priority. The toys and the educational material that the nursery has are amazing. My son loves it so much that he does not want to come back home. Their food is prepared by a chef and we have tried it and it is delicious. Really happy with the nursery and will definitely sign up my daughter there too.
I could not be happier with the progress my son is making at Little Bear Cubs! After a negative experience at a previous nursery, it took me a long time to find a place I could trust. Being a very clingy toddler I thought it would be impossible for him to settle anywhere, but after just a few sessions he really bonded with the team. I couldn’t believe how quickly he became comfortable and happy in the environment and it hasn’t taken long for him to get to the stage where he is actually excited to go to nursery and wants to stay there. Andrea and her team have really gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable at his own pace and I am so pleased I chose this nursery. They have made the effort to understand his interests and needs and show they really care which is why I think he has settled so quickly. I have never seen such amazing resources at a nursery before and the activities inspire the children to learn and explore.There is something new for him to see or do every week. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.
